There are three levels to the second-generation of Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), TSS-C, TSS-P and 2nd-Generation TSS. All three of these levels of protection deliver top-of-the-line safety features that put peace of mind into the driving experience. TSS-C equips Toyota vehicles with a Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic High Beams. While TSS-P provides a Pre-Collision System with a Pedestrian Detection Function, Lane Departure Warning with available Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beams.
Finally, second-generation TSS equips 2018 Toyota models with Pre-Collision System with Day/Night Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Full-Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with enhanced forward recognition and acceleration/deceleration capabilities. All of these advanced safety features were designed to increase driver awareness while putting safe guard technology in place to help avoid an accident due to a distracted driver.
